Think a question through with a group of AI agents.
Huddle is an open-source group chat where you talk a question through with a group of AI agents. Each one has its own role, voice and knowledge the others cannot see, so a decision that needs several people's facts gets them. They answer together, build on each other's points, stay quiet when they would only repeat someone, and you can redirect anyone while they write.
Install
- Docker
cp .env.example .env && docker compose up --build
What it does
- Bring your own group: a startup leadership team, a family planning the summer and a ten-person launch war room ship as presets, and any group can be edited or extended.
- Real discussion: agents combine what each of them knows into conclusions none of them could reach alone, and an explicit 'let's discuss' runs a few rounds before one of them sums up.
- Redirect anyone mid-answer: name an agent and only that answer changes; stops and standing instructions such as 'answer in Chinese' apply at once.
- Editable souls and memories, a sandboxed shell with no network, and web research that saves every source as a file.
- Models are configuration only: DeepSeek, MiniMax, OpenAI Chat Completions or the Responses API.
What it leaves out on purpose
- One process, one user: no accounts. A backend restart ends running answers, which are marked stopped.
- Text already shown is never retracted. A steer changes everything after the point of interruption.
